FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH THE LEGEND

On November 2015, The Sublime Arts Clothing Team went up to the beautiful mountains of Kalinga, in a small village near a huge river, there we met Apo Whang Od. The Oldest living Traditional Tribal Artist in the world.

There is a certain enigma behind Apo, something that has draws people towards her... even from the farthest parts of the world just to see Apo... it was magic.

It is just about fitting to acknowledge Apo Whang Od as one of our inspirations for having Tribal Designs incorporated in our Barong Tagalog.

Whether it be Premium Barong Tagalog or Premium Masonic Barong, there is always a hint of Apo in our designs.
